Rudder, elevator, spoiler?

I am building an XC Genie. 145" span rudder, elevator, spoiler (RES) Genie to help me with my LSF Level V soaring tasks. I will increase the main dihedral break to 10 degrees and add an additional break at the second wing panel of 10 degrees. I believe that the elevator is large enough but I will double the size of the rudder.

The images below will highlight key construction areas with a little commentary. This is not a step-by-step illustration. For the most part, I follow Harley's instructions found on his web site. As he adds steps or suggestions to his web site I use what I like but stick with what I feel works for me along with a little improv on my part.

Everything required to build this XC version of the Genie is the same as the original. However, I will be modifying the spar and wing joiners as well as the tow hook and enlarging the rudder.
