Candidate Privacy Notice

This notice supplements the Privacy Policy for people who apply to the GenieBuild Talent Network. Applying expresses interest in potential future customer assignments; it is not an offer or guarantee of employment.
Candidate information collected
GenieBuild may collect your name, contact details, location and time zone, primary construction role, years of experience, project and discipline background, software experience, work preferences, availability, resume, optional portfolio link, application certifications and information generated through later vetting or interview steps.
Why it is used
The information is used to review Talent Network fit, understand your experience and availability, contact you about relevant opportunities, support customer matching and interviews, administer potential onboarding, maintain recruiting records and protect the application workflow from abuse.
Who may receive it
Authorized GenieBuild personnel and service providers may process candidate information for recruiting and operations. Relevant candidate information may be shared with a prospective customer when GenieBuild determines there is a reasonable role match and the candidate-selection process moves forward. If an assignment proceeds, information may also be provided to approved onboarding or administrative service providers as appropriate.
Resume storage and security
Candidate resumes are designed to be stored in private file storage rather than as public website assets. Access should be limited to authorized operational review, including time-limited review links where supported. Applicants should not include unnecessary sensitive information in a resume or portfolio.
Retention and requests
Candidate records may be retained while they are reasonably relevant to potential customer demand and for legitimate operational or legal needs.
